Edward’s atmospheric seascapes are concerned with revealing his enthusiasm, passion and underlying connection with the physical grandeur of Australia’s coastline.
Using acrylics, mixed media and ply board, Edward creates textural compositions layered with contrasting elements: Impending dark storms, soothing underwater views of refractive light and distant breaking waves. The visual result captures fleeting moments of ambient beauty often bordering on the sublime.
Edward’s work is held in private collections in Canada, Germany, England and around Australia.
